Our workplace is situated on 4th Main Road in Malleswaram West. We handle advertising work, which mostly means doing prints, banners, and signboards for people. There is definitely a workshop vibe here rather than a fancy office. We have these large printing machines that take up a lot of space and they make a steady humming noise whenever they are running. Because of the work we do, there are always scraps of vinyl and cut paper scattered on the floor. We try to sweep up at the end of the day, but as soon as a new job starts, the mess is back again. People usually come in with their designs or ideas on a thumb drive and we sit down to see how we can print it for them. We don't have a big team of creative directors or anything like that. It is just us and the equipment. Malleswaram is a nice neighborhood to work in because of the old trees and the quiet streets, even if we are busy in our little corner on 4th Main. We’ve been doing this for a few years now. Sometimes the colors don't look quite right on the first print, so we have to stop and adjust the ink levels. It’s just part of the daily routine. We don't make any big promises. We just try to get the signs and prints done as well as we can. It’s a small, local operation and we like it that way. If you walk down the street you might hear the machines.
