Geotrek

Geotrek is located over at 234 JP Nagar on Paud Road, which is a part of town that has changed a lot over the years. We are close to Aris Globle, so that’s what we tell people when they are trying to find the entrance. The office itself is tucked away and has a bit of a lived-in feel to it. There’s a lot of stuff scattered around, like old maps, some gear, and plenty of notebooks filled with scribbles. It’s the kind of place where the door is usually open unless the weather is bad. We don't really follow a strict schedule here; people come in, get their coffee, and start on whatever project is currently on the table. JP Nagar is a nice area with some trees left, though it’s getting more crowded every month. You can hear the neighborhood waking up in the morning and the shops nearby opening their shutters. Our space is small enough that you can’t really hide if you’re trying to avoid work, which keeps us honest I suppose. We spend a lot of time talking about routes and locations, which makes sense given what we do. It’s not a polished corporate office with glass walls and fancy carpets. It’s more like a workshop where we try to figure things out as we go along. Most days are just about managing the details and making sure we haven't missed anything important for the next task.
