Our office is tucked away on the 6th floor of Mittal Towers, specifically in the A Wing, room 608. Being on Mahatma Gandhi Road is convenient, but the traffic to get here is always a nightmare. We spend most of our days looking at legal documents and talking to people about their problems. It’s a lot of reading and writing, to be honest. The office is full of bookshelves and stacks of papers that we promise ourselves we’ll file away tomorrow. We aren't one of those huge law firms with glass walls and marble floors. It’s just a standard office where we do our work. The lift in Mittal Towers can be a bit slow, so we usually tell people to give themselves an extra five minutes. We’ve been here for a good amount of time now. Sometimes it’s quiet, and other times the phone won't stop ringing. We try to keep a calm atmosphere, even when things get stressful with court dates and deadlines. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background. It’s a small team, so we all know what’s going on with every case. We aren't trying to be fancy; we just want to help the people who walk through our door. The view from the window is mostly other buildings, but we get some nice light in the morning. We drink a lot of water and try to stay organized, even if the desk looks a bit messy.
