We are based in the Ramakrishna Apartments in Delhi, at M 14 to be exact. It’s a bit of a mix here because we are technically a subsidiary of a company out in Perth, Australia, but our daily life is very much centered in this Haryana-Delhi border area. The office is basically an apartment that we've converted into a workspace. It’s full of maps and reports because of the nature of the work we do. There are usually a few of us here looking over geological data or responding to emails. It’s not a fancy corporate suite. We have a small kitchen area where we make tea and keep our lunch boxes. The living room area is where most of the desks are set up. It’s quiet for the most part, except when the phones start ringing. Being in an apartment building means we have to be mindful of the neighbors, so we don't have a lot of foot traffic coming through. It works for us though. We spend a lot of time coordinating with people in different time zones, so sometimes we are here quite late or very early. We just focus on the technical stuff and try to keep the paperwork in order. It’s a practical way to run things without needing a massive office building. The views from the windows are just of other buildings, but the light is good enough for reading maps.
