General Magnetics

Our main office and the workshop are both located at C-83 in the second stage of the Peenya Industrial Estate. We are specifically on the 2nd Main road, which is one of the busier streets in this part of the estate. Peenya is a huge place, and it can be easy to get lost if you don't know the cross streets, but we have been in this C-83 unit for many years now. The building is an old-fashioned industrial structure with high ceilings and heavy doors. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons, but the fans keep the air moving while we work on the magnetics side of things. There is always the sound of metal or machines in the background because our neighbors are also doing manufacturing work. It is a hardworking area. We don't have any polished showrooms or fancy lobbies. It’s all very practical here, with workbenches, tools, and materials stacked where they are easy to reach. We start our shift early to beat the worst of the heat and the traffic coming into Peenya. Most of the guys here have been with us for a long time, so we all know the routine by heart. We just focus on getting the jobs done right and making sure the parts are ready when they are supposed to be. It is a no-nonsense kind of place to work.
