Gemnet Info Systems

Gemnet Info Systems is located on the 1st floor of Raghavendra Plaza on D. K. Street. Being in Shivajinagar means it’s always lively outside. There’s a lot of foot traffic and the smell of food from the nearby stalls often wafts up to our windows. Our office is up the stairs, and it’s a decent sized room filled with computers and networking gear. We’ve got wires running along the baseboards and a few stacks of old manuals that we probably should have thrown away years ago. It’s a working office, so things aren't always perfectly tidy. We mostly handle info systems and data stuff, which means a lot of staring at blinking lights on routers. The air conditioning in the plaza is a bit temperamental, so we have a few extra fans standing around just in case it decides to quit in the afternoon. Most people find us by looking for the sign on the main street and coming up the narrow staircase. We know the other shop owners in the plaza, so we usually chat for a minute in the hallway or share a cup of coffee. It’s a friendly enough place. We don't have a big reception desk or anyone to greet you; you just walk in and find whoever isn't wearing headphones. It’s just us doing our thing every day, trying to stay on top of the work and making sure the systems stay online for everyone who needs them.
