This is Geetha R's spot in Shivaji Nagar. We are at number 44 on Veerapillai Street. If you know the city, this street runs parallel to Commercial Street, which is the big shopping hub. Because we are so close to Commercial Street, it’s always busy around here. There’s a lot of noise, people shouting, and the smell of food from the nearby stalls. Veerapillai Street is a bit narrower than the main roads, and it’s always packed with shoppers and vendors. My space is right in the middle of all that action. It’s a small place, nothing like those big offices in the suburbs. I’ve got my setup inside where I can get away from the crowd for a bit and get some work done. The building is quite old and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it’s sturdy enough. I like the energy of Shivaji Nagar, even though it can be exhausting by the end of the day. Finding our door can be a bit of a challenge if you’re distracted by all the shops, so I usually tell people to look for the number 44 clearly. It’s a practical location for me because everything I need is within walking distance. It’s just a regular work day here, surrounded by the constant hum of the market and the city life just outside the door. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
