Geekay Enterprises

Geekay Enterprises is located at 12 Rathna Ilas Rd in Basavan Gudi, Blore. Basavan Gudi is one of those classic parts of Bangalore that hasn't changed quite as fast as the rest of the city. Our office is on Rathna Ilas Road, which is a nice street with some old trees that give a lot of shade. The building we are in is also older, so it has high ceilings and big windows. We have a lot of shelves filled with various items and records from over the years. It’s a bit of a mixture of things in here. We don't have a fancy interior designer's touch; we just put furniture where it fits. Most of our work involves managing orders and talking to suppliers. It can be a bit slow some days and then very hectic the next, depending on what is coming in. We have a few regular people who stop by for a chat or to pick things up. There is a very good tiffin room just a short walk away where we often go for breakfast or lunch. The atmosphere in the office is pretty relaxed. We don't have strict rules about every little thing as long as the work gets done. It feels like a local business because that’s exactly what it is. We are happy to be part of the Basavan Gudi landscape and plan to stay here for a long time.
