We operate out of Rmv 2Nd Stage 27/1. Gautam Modak Architects isn’t some massive corporation. It’s just us working out of this space. The address is pretty easy to find once you’re in the neighborhood. We spend a lot of time here, probably too much time if you ask our families. The work involves a lot of technical details that most people don’t think about, like where the pipes go or how much weight a beam can hold. We spend hours on these things so the people living in the buildings don’t have to. Rmv 2Nd Stage is a decent place to have an office. It’s got a good mix of residential and commercial stuff around it. Our workspace is filled with catalogs of windows and doors and samples of granite. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes. We don't have a flashy website or a big advertising budget. Most people find us because they saw a building we worked on or a friend told them about us. We just focus on the drawings and the site visits. Sometimes we’re out in the sun all day checking on a foundation, and other days we’re stuck inside doing math. It’s a balance. We like the variety. Being at 27/1 has been good for us over the years. We know the local shops and the people around here. It’s a quiet, steady kind of life at Gautam Modak Architects. We aren't fancy, but we know how to get the job done properly for our clients.
