Garden City Tours & Travels

Our office is at B-2 in Gandhi Nagar, which is right near the Axis Bank. Most people use the bank as a landmark when they are trying to find us for the first time. Garden City Tours & Travels has been operating out of this small space for some years. It’s mostly just us handling bookings for buses, cars, or whatever travel needs people have. The walls are covered with some old maps and calendars. It’s not the most modern office you’ll see, but it works for what we need. Gandhi Nagar is always humming with people, so it stays pretty active around here. We spend most of our day talking to drivers or checking schedules on the computer. Sometimes the phones won't stop ringing and other times it's quiet enough to actually have a tea. We don't have a big fleet of our own parked right outside, we mostly coordinate everything from this desk. If a customer walks in, we just pull up a chair and talk about where they need to go. It’s straightforward. We’ve lived in the city a long time, so we know the routes pretty well. We don't put out shiny brochures or anything like that. People just know we are here by the bank. We just try to get the bookings right so nobody gets stuck somewhere they shouldn't be. It’s a busy life, but we like being in this neighborhood.
