Gangothri Hotel

Gangothri Hotel is located at Geetha Mansion on the 80Ft Road in Koramangala. We are right in the 6th Block, which is a very busy part of Bangalore. If you walk past the Hanuman Temple, you’ll see us at number 14. We aren't really a hotel in the sense of having a hundred rooms and a pool, it’s more of a local place where people can find a room or get something to eat. Koramangala is full of students and young professionals, so we see a lot of them coming and going. The building itself is an older one, Geetha Mansion, and it has a bit of character to it. My day usually involves checking people in or dealing with the laundry. The 80Ft Road is always noisy with bikes and cars, but you get used to it after a while. We have been here for a good amount of time and we know the other shop owners on the street. It’s a simple operation and we don’t try to make it seem like more than it is. The rooms are basic but they stay clean. People like being here because they can walk to all the shops and cafes in Koramangala without needing a taxi. We just keep the doors open and help out the people who stop by. It’s a lot of routine work, but we like being part of this neighborhood and seeing the city change around us.
