G V Engineering Enterprises is right near the JP Park Bus Stand in Mathikere. Being so close to the bus stand at number 199 means there is always a lot of noise and people walking past our door. We’ve got a lot of heavy machinery crammed into the space, so it can be a bit of a tight fit when we are working on a big project. You can usually hear us from down the street before you even see the shop. The floors are a bit stained with oil and there’s metal shavings everywhere, but that’s just how an engineering place looks. We don't spend much time worrying about the decor or making the place look pretty for visitors. We’re usually too busy figuring out how to make a part fit or fixing a machine that broke down. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish something, and you can see the lights on from the bus stop. The guys who work here are local and we’ve all been doing this for a long time. We don't have any big mission statements, we just take the work as it comes and try to do a decent job of it. It’s a practical place for practical work. If you need something fabricated or fixed, you just walk in and talk to one of us at the bench.
