G Star

If you come down to T Dasarahalli on Brigade Road, you will find G Star at 193 A. It’s a very busy part of town and there are always people walking past the door. The energy on Brigade Road is something else, especially in the evenings when the lights come on. Our space at 193 A is not huge, but we make the most of it. There is always a lot of noise from the street, like horns honking and people chatting as they shop. We have some racks and shelves that we are constantly rearranging to make everything fit. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes when we get a new shipment in. We don't have a lot of time for sitting around. Usually, we are on our feet, talking to people or moving things from the back to the front. The floor is a bit scuffed from all the foot traffic over the months. G Star is just a local spot where we show up every morning and open the shutters. We deal with all kinds of folks who wander in from the sidewalk. Some are just looking and others are in a hurry. We just try to keep things simple and get the work done. By the time we lock up at night, we are pretty tired. But it’s a good kind of busy here on Brigade Road.
