G Sixteen Studios

G Sixteen Studios is tucked away at number 2 Mathikere Majithia Nagar. It’s a quiet enough area for a studio, which helps when we’re trying to focus on our work. The space we have isn't huge, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need inside. There’s a lot of gear lying around, like tripods and lights that we haven't put away yet. We’ve been here for a bit now and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint. Sometimes the neighborhood kids play cricket right outside our door, which makes a bit of noise, but we don’t mind it much. We spend most of our days editing or setting up for different shoots. It's a lot of sitting in front of screens and moving heavy equipment around. We don't have a front desk or a receptionist; usually, whoever is closest to the door just opens it. There is a small bakery nearby that makes great puffs, and that’s where we usually head when we need a break from the studio lights. We aren't some big high-end production house with a lot of ego. It’s just a small group of us trying to make things that look decent. We like being in Mathikere because it feels like a real community. The office is a bit messy, but that’s just how we work best. We have an old couch in the corner for when we get tired after a long day of editing.
