G M Engineers

We operate G M Engineers out of the Peenya Industrial Area, specifically at number 2. Peenya is a huge place with lots of factories and workshops, and we are just one of them. It’s a very loud area with the sound of machines and trucks all day long. We have a workshop floor that is usually covered in some kind of grease or metal shavings. It’s not a place for clean clothes. We do engineering work, fixing things or making parts when people need them for their own machines. We have a few old lathes and some newer tools too. It’s just a handful of us working here. We don't have a HR department or any of that. We just show up, do the work, and go home when the day is done. Usually, we have a break in the afternoon for some tea and biscuits from the local shop. The roof leaks a bit when it rains really hard, but we just move the machines out of the way and keep going. It’s a practical place. We don’t care about looking professional, we just care about the work being done right. Most of our customers are other businesses in the same industrial zone. We’ve been here for years and we know most of the other shop owners nearby. It’s a tough environment but it’s what we know. We just keep the motors running and the tools sharp.
