Our branch is located at number 7 in Kammanahalli. It is a decent-sized space but it feels smaller when we have a lot of people coming in at once. We spend our days mostly looking at computer screens and talking to people about where they want to go. The phones ring quite a bit and there is usually a stack of forms on the counter that need sorting. Kammanahalli has changed a lot over the years and we have seen a lot of businesses come and go around us. We are just tucked away here, dealing with the travel stuff and the money exchange bits that people need for their trips. It is not exactly glamorous work, despite what people think about travel. There is a lot of checking dates and making sure names are spelled right on the tickets. We have a few maps on the wall that are a bit faded from the sun. The chairs for the customers are okay, nothing fancy, just somewhere to sit while we look things up. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to make small talk while the page loads. It is a regular job for us and we stay pretty focused on the tasks. We know the regulars who come in every year for their holiday planning. It is a bit noisy with the bikes outside but once the door is shut it is not too bad. We usually close up once the sun starts to go down and the street lights come on.
