Our place, Fz, is located in the Mahatani Mansion on Asayee Road. If you are looking for us, the best way to find the building is to look for the Bengalee Association because we are right near it in Bengaluru. The mansion itself has its own character, maybe a bit old-fashioned compared to the new glass buildings they are putting up everywhere these days. Asayee Road can get pretty packed with traffic during the rush hour, so getting in and out sometimes takes longer than you’d expect. Inside Mahatani Mansion, it’s a bit quieter though. We’ve got our space set up simply. No big decorations or anything unnecessary. Most days it’s just us doing what needs to be done. We see people coming and going from the association nearby, which makes the area feel a bit more lively. The weather in Bangalore is usually okay, but the rains can make the road a bit of a mess sometimes. We’ve been here for a bit now and know the local tea stall guys and the other shops on the street. It’s a decent spot to be in, even if it’s a bit tucked away. We don’t really have a big lobby or a receptionist, you just kind of come in and find us. It’s a straightforward setup for Fz, nothing more and nothing less. We just keep things moving along every day without much fuss, just like anyone else would.
