Front Office Manager

I am writing this from the Front Office Manager desk. We are based at The Bangalore Royal Inn, which is a 3-star hotel. You can find us right next to the HAL Airport arrival road in the Bangalore 17 area. It’s a busy spot because of the planes coming in and out all the time. Being next to the airport means we see a lot of people from different places. The front office is where everything happens for us. We handle the keys, the guests, and the phones. It gets pretty loud with the traffic outside, but you get used to it after a while. The hotel is straightforward and doesn't try to be something it isn't. We just want to make sure people have a place to stay when they land. There are no big fancy mission statements here. We just show up and do the front office work. The arrival road is always moving with cars and taxis. I've spent a lot of time here looking out at that street. Bangalore 17 is a specific part of town that stays active late into the night. We keep the desk manned and ready for whoever walks in. It’s a normal job in a busy hotel. We just focus on the daily tasks and trying to keep things organized. That’s about all there is to our story here.
