Front Office Executive

Prakash K runs things from the 2nd floor over at number 16/6 in Marenahalli. It is right on the 1st Main in Vijaynagar, which is a part of Bangalore that never really sleeps. To get to us, you have to walk up the stairs, which is a bit of a workout every morning. The office is not huge, but it has everything we need to keep things running. Being a front office executive means being the first person people see, so the desk is usually cluttered with visitor logs and delivery slips. We handle a lot of different tasks, from answering calls to sorting out the mail that piles up. The neighborhood is full of shops and houses, so there is always something happening outside. You can hear the vegetable sellers shouting and the horns of the bikes weaving through the traffic. Inside, we just try to stay organized. It is the kind of place where the pen you just used disappears the moment you put it down. We do not have fancy decorations or expensive carpets. It is just a functional space where we work through the daily list of chores. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to find other things to do while we wait. It is a very normal, everyday sort of job in a very normal part of the city. We have a small kettle for tea and a few chairs for guests.
