Front Office Assistant

Working as a front office assistant at No 20 in the Sanaulla Layout is quite a mix of things. We are tucked away on 4th Cross in Sultanpalya, right by the R.T. Nagar post office. Bangalore is a busy city, and even here in the layout, you can feel that energy. My desk is usually covered in notes and there’s always a phone ringing or someone walking in with a question. I’ve been at this spot for some time now. It’s a practical job, really. I handle the visitors and make sure people get pointed in the right direction. The area around Sultanpalya has its own charm, though the traffic on the main roads can be a bit much. Inside, we just try to keep things moving. It isn’t a huge, polished corporate lobby; it feels more like a local workplace. I spend a lot of time on the computer and talking to the rest of the staff. We’ve got a routine that works for us. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when a lot of people arrive at once, but we just handle it as it comes. It's just a regular office day-to-day. Most of the people who come by are locals or people doing business in the area. We don’t have any big slogans, just the work we do at the front desk every day to keep the place running smoothly for everyone who visits.
