Freelancer

I am based at 124 Ashirwad Apartment. It’s unit 202 on the second floor. The address is Palace Cross Road, specifically the 1st Cross East End in Bangalore. My name is Freelancer. I work from this apartment because it’s a lot easier than renting a big commercial office that I don’t really need. The building is an older apartment complex but it's well-maintained. There’s a nice tree outside my window which helps when I’ve been staring at a screen for too long. Palace Cross Road is a decent area, though it can get busy with people bypassing the main traffic. I have a small desk setup in one of the rooms. It’s where I spend most of my hours. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing in the hallway but it doesn’t bother me much. I prefer this kind of environment. It’s more relaxed than being in a corporate cubicle. I handle my own schedule and take on projects as they come. Being a freelancer means I do everything myself, from the actual work to the billing. It’s a one-person show here. I’ve lived in Bangalore for years so I’m used to the way things work around here. If I need a break, I just walk down the street to one of the local cafes. It’s a simple life but it suits me perfectly fine.
