Franklyn

It's usually pretty noisy out on 21st Main here in Vijayanagar, especially in the afternoons when everyone is out and about. We have our little spot set up here and Franklyn is where we spend most of our daylight hours. The building isn't anything fancy, just a regular place with some desks and a lot of stuff piled up. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit but we just keep working through it. We’ve got a few people who have been with us for years now and they know exactly where everything is kept, even when the place looks like a mess to anyone else walking in. We don't really do much in the way of big fancy meetings or anything. It's mostly just us answering the phone, checking on orders, and making sure things are moving along like they should. The traffic outside can be a real headache when we're trying to load things up, but you get used to the sound of the horns after a while. Most days we just grab a quick lunch from the stall down the road and get right back to it. It’s a simple way of working, but it keeps us busy and we know the neighbors pretty well by now. The sun hits the front window pretty hard in the morning so we usually keep the blinds halfway down until it cools off a bit in the evening. That's just how it is here.
