Our place is at 1277/23 Jayanagar, right on Meenakshi Koil Street in Bangalore. Being near the temple means we hear the bells and the general bustle of the street all day long. Foxglove is a software company, but we don't feel like those giant tech firms you see in the news. We’re a smaller group, and the office feels more like a home than a corporate headquarters. We have our desks set up in a way that makes it easy to talk to each other without having to get up. The street outside is usually full of people and vendors, which gives the place a lot of character. We work on various software projects, mostly just writing code and testing it until it works. The building is an older style, typical of this part of Jayanagar. We have a few plants in the corner that someone remembers to water once in a while. It’s not a high-pressure sales environment or anything like that. We just enjoy the process of building things with computers. When it rains, the sound on the roof is quite loud, and we usually take that as a sign to take a small break. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just trying to write good software and keep our clients happy. It’s a simple life here on Meenakshi Koil Street, and we like the pace of it. We have been here for years and the neighborhood knows us well.
