Foress Technologies Pvt Ltd is located on the first floor at 41307 Dodda Mavalli. We are quite close to Trinity Hospital, so there are always ambulances and people walking by on the street below. To get to us, you have to head up a narrow set of stairs that can be a bit dark if the bulb is out. Once you are inside, it’s a pretty standard office setup with a few rows of desks and some whiteboards that are usually covered in scribbles and diagrams that only we understand. We spend a lot of our time staring at code and drinking lukewarm tea that we get from the place downstairs. Dodda Mavalli is an old area, and you can feel it in the narrow streets and the way the buildings are all squeezed together. Lunchtime is usually the best part of the day because we go out to one of the small local eateries nearby for some hot food. We don't have any fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet you. It’s just a group of us working on software and technical projects. The fans hum overhead all day long because it gets quite stuffy in the afternoons. We aren't trying to be the next big thing you read about in the papers. We just have our specific projects to finish and we keep our heads down until the work is done. It is a simple office life in a very busy part of the city.
