We are located at 172 Koramangala, which is a pretty lively part of town to be in. Fomaxtech is basically a group of us working on software and IT stuff. The office is a bit of a cluttered space with monitors everywhere and cables running along the floor. We aren't really the corporate type, so you’ll see people in t-shirts and jeans most days. Koramangala has all these cafes and shops, so there is always somewhere to go when we need a break from looking at code. The building we are in is decent, though the elevator can be a bit temperamental sometimes. We spend a lot of time troubleshooting things and trying to figure out why a bit of software isn't doing what it’s supposed to. It’s a lot of quiet concentration punctuated by someone complaining about a bug or a server issue. We don't have a big marketing team or a polished front desk. It’s just a workspace where we get things done. Sometimes we stay late when a project is due, and the sound of typing is the only thing you hear in the room. We’ve got a small kitchen area where we make way too much tea and coffee to keep us going. It feels like a real community here because we’ve been in this same spot for a while now. It’s a practical environment for people who just want to work on tech without all the extra office politics and distractions of a bigger company.
