Flight Movement Controller

We are located at Pulimoottil Puthen Veedu in Chennithala, which is out in Mavelikara. This is the Allapuzha district of Kerala, so it’s a bit different than the big city life. Our work as Flight Movement Controllers means we are always looking at schedules and keeping track of where things are supposed to be. It’s a job that requires a lot of looking at papers and screens. We operate out of this house address, so it’s a more personal way of doing things. Kerala is quiet around here, but the work we do connects us to much bigger places. We don’t have a big office building with glass walls. It’s just us in Chennithala getting the job done. Sometimes the rain here is heavy and we just keep on working through it. We handle the logistics and the timing. It’s about being precise without making a big deal out of it. We don’t write long papers about our vision. We just make sure the movements are tracked correctly and the data is right. Life in Mavelikara moves at its own pace, but the flight world is fast, so we balance those two things every day. It’s a steady kind of life. We’ve been at this for a bit now, just regular people doing a specific job from our home base in the village.
