Fitwell Clothing

We are located on the ground floor at 118, 1st Main Road in the Nrupathunga Layout. It’s part of RT Nagar in Bangalore, which is a nice enough place to work. Fitwell Clothing isn't a big factory; it’s more of a local setup where we handle the garment work. When you walk in, the first thing you notice is the sound of the sewing machines. It’s a constant hum that we’ve all gotten used to over time. There are piles of fabric everywhere, in different colors and textures, and the cutting tables take up most of the room. We don't have a fancy showroom with mannequins in the window. We just have our workstations and the shelves where we keep the finished pieces before they go out. The lighting is bright so we can see what we are doing, but it makes the room a bit warm in the afternoons. We usually have the door open to let in a bit of a breeze from the 5th Cross. People from the layout often stop by just to see what we are working on. It’s a very hands-on kind of business. We spend our days measuring, cutting, and stitching. Sometimes we make mistakes and have to start over, but that’s just part of the job. We aren't trying to be a high-end fashion house. We are just people who know how to make clothes and we do it right here in RT Nagar.
