Firstsource

If you ever find yourself walking down Jiten Lane in Darjeeling, you will find us at number 3. Firstsource is what we go by. It is a bit of a climb sometimes because of all the hills around here, but the air is always very fresh. We are not a huge place with glass walls or anything like that. It is more of a regular building where we sit and do our daily tasks. West Bengal has its own rhythm, and we definitely follow it. We have got a few rooms where the team sits. It gets a little cold in the winter months, so we usually have sweaters on while we work. We handle a lot of different things throughout the day. People often get lost looking for this lane, so we end up giving directions quite a bit. It is not a polished corporate office. It is more like a place where neighbors work together on their computers. We have been in this spot for some time now. The tea breaks are usually the best part of the afternoon for most of us. We do not have a fancy mission statement painted on the wall. We just show up and do what needs doing. Sometimes it is noisy outside, and sometimes it is very quiet. We just focus on the screens and the paperwork. It is a practical way to spend the day. Darjeeling is a small town in many ways, and we like being a part of it. We do not make a big fuss.
