First City Travels & Cargo

We are located on Infantry Road, specifically at Gill Road number 55. This area is always buzzing with people and cars, so there’s never a dull moment. Our main focus is travel and moving things from one place to another. The cargo side of the business means there are usually a few boxes stacked in the corner waiting to be picked up. It might look a bit messy, but we have a system for everything. We spend a lot of time on the phone with drivers and agents. Sometimes the paperwork for shipping things gets a bit overwhelming, but we just take it one page at a time. It’s a practical business. People come to us when they are moving house or sending gifts to family far away. We also do flight bookings, which keeps the other half of the office busy. The chairs are a bit old, but they are comfortable enough for a long chat about travel plans. We don't use any fancy software, just the stuff that works. The building is an older one, so it has its quirks, like the light switch that you have to flick twice. We’ve been here long enough that everyone on the street knows who we are. The street outside is usually blocked with delivery vans, so we just walk to the corner to meet people.
