I work out of 82/2 in the Jayshree Complex, which sits right on Hosur Main Road. It’s a central spot in the Basavanagar GIDC area, so there are always trucks and workers moving around outside. My space in the complex is pretty basic. I have my desk, some chairs for visitors, and a lot of things to keep track of throughout the day. Working in an industrial zone like GIDC means things are always moving fast. I’ve been here for a good bit of time now, seeing the different shops in the complex change over the years. My day is usually filled with meetings or just keeping up with the daily chores that come with running a business. It’s not a corporate headquarters, just a room where I get my work done. Sometimes I’m out on the road, but usually, you can find me here at the complex. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the files are stacked high, but I know where everything is. People stop by to chat or ask about work, and I just handle things as they come. It’s a straightforward way to live. No big slogans or fancy promises. I just show up to the office, deal with the tasks on my list, and go home when it’s finished. It’s what I know how to do. It is just how life goes when you are right in the middle of a big industrial compound.
