Fermata Solutions is located at Whitefield Varthur Main Road, A-602. If you know the traffic in Whitefield, you know why we sometimes show up a little late. The office is in a big complex, which is nice because there’s security and a place to park the bikes. We deal with software and business solutions, which basically means we sit in front of computers all day. It’s a quiet office for the most part. We have a small kitchen where we heat up our lunch boxes. The smell of sambar and rice fills the place around 1 PM. We aren't a huge company with hundreds of employees. There’s just a handful of us. We focus on the tasks we have and try to get them done by evening so we can beat the rush hour home. The walls are mostly bare except for a calendar and a few notes taped up. We don't have a fancy mission statement on the wall. We just want to do our work and go home to our families. Sometimes we have to stay late to talk to people in different time zones, but that’s rare. It’s a decent life. We’ve made some good friends here. The building management is okay, though the water in the washrooms is sometimes cold. We don't mind. It’s a practical place for practical people who just want to work. We’ve been in this unit for about three years now.
