So, we’ve been operating as Feb 2009 With Cadence Design Systems Pvt Ltd here in Bangalore for a long time. It’s a bit of a mouthful of a name, but it’s what’s on the paperwork. Bangalore is known for its tech scene, and we’re right in the middle of that whole atmosphere in Karnataka. Our office is a typical Bangalore workspace, with lots of wires, computers, and empty coffee mugs scattered around. The weather is usually nice, which is one of the perks of being located here. We spend most of our hours looking at designs and systems on our screens. It’s not the most exciting thing to describe to someone else, but it keeps us busy. We don’t really do much in the way of marketing ourselves. We just do the work that comes our way. Sometimes the power goes out, even with all the backup systems, and we all just take a collective breath. Traffic in Bangalore is as bad as everyone says, so a lot of our morning talk is about how long it took to get in. We have a small break area where we occasionally chat about non-work stuff. It's a pretty standard professional environment without any of the over-the-top perks you see in some of the bigger firms. We just focus on the design systems and try to get things right. It's what we've been doing since we started in this city.
