We are over here in Bangalore at 1st Cross Income Tax Layout. It’s a busy spot in KG Halli. Syed Iftekhar Ahmed No 5 is where the office is located. Most days start with a lot of phone calls about flights and hotels. People come in looking to figure out where they need to go next. The traffic on the way here can be a real pain sometimes, but that is just how Bangalore is. We spend a lot of time looking at computer screens and checking schedules. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular office where we get things done. Sometimes the chai guy comes by and that is the highlight of the morning. We have been in this spot for a while now. The neighborhood has changed a bit over the years. You can see the old houses and the newer buildings all mixed together. We try to keep things simple here. Dealing with travel can get complicated, so we just focus on the paperwork and the bookings. If you walk past the Income Tax Layout, you will find us easily enough. There is usually a bit of noise from the street, but we are used to it by now. It is just us working away on travel plans for whoever walks through the door or calls us up. We don't have a big lobby or anything like that, just some desks and people trying to help out.
