Farmland

Farmland is out in Chikballapur, specifically in the Sankheda Kosindra area. It is a bit of a drive to get out here if you are coming from the main city, but we like the space. The air feels a bit different than the crowded streets closer in. We spend a lot of our time outdoors or in the small office we set up on the property. There isn’t much around us besides other plots and a few local houses, so it stays fairly quiet most of the time. We started this because we had the land and figured we should do something useful with it. Some days the weather is quite harsh, either too hot or raining so hard the roads get muddy, but that’s just how it goes when you’re out here. We don’t have a big team, just a couple of guys who know how to handle the daily chores. Most of our tools are stored in the shed near the back fence. It’s not a polished business with a front desk; you usually just find us by looking for the gate near the main path. We grow what we can and manage the property as best as possible. People from the nearby village stop by occasionally to borrow a tool or just chat about the harvest. It’s a slow pace of life, but there is always something that needs fixing or checking on.
