We’re located at Shop 02, inside Sunshine Plaza on the first floor. It’s No. 28 Rest House Road, just off the main stretch of Brigade Road. If you know that area, you know how packed it gets with people and cars. Getting up to the first floor is a bit of a trek when the elevator is acting up, which happens more than we’d like. Our shop isn't huge, but we pack a lot of clothes onto the racks. We spend most of our mornings unpacking boxes and steaming out wrinkles. The window looks out toward the street, but mostly you just see the tops of cars. It can get a bit stuffy in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going full blast. We do a lot of measuring and pinning here. Sometimes the floor is just covered in loose threads and bits of fabric after a busy afternoon. We don't have those fancy mannequins you see in the big malls. We just hang things up where people can see them easily. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than three people are in the shop at once, but we make it work. We’ve been in this plaza for a while now, and we know most of the other shopkeepers around. It’s just a normal fashion shop where we try to keep things organized and help people find a good fit.
