We set up shop at 130/1, Church Circle, just off Mysore Road. It’s a spot that’s easy to find if you know the landmark. The building itself is older, and we’ve made ourselves at home in it over the years. Inside, there’s always the scent of sawdust and sometimes wood glue. We have different sections for cutting, sanding, and putting things together. It’s not the quietest place to work, especially when the heavy machinery is going, but we don't mind it. Our team is small, mostly just a few guys who have been working with wood since they were young. We keep our tools on the wall and the scraps in bins for later use. Mysore Road gets pretty loud with all the trucks going by, so we usually have the radio playing to drown out some of that noise. We don't really have a big sales pitch or a fancy front window. Usually, people just walk into the workshop and ask if we can help them with a piece of furniture or some custom shelving. We tell them what’s possible and what isn't. It’s a straightforward way of doing things. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought because a piece of wood has a knot we didn't see, but that’s just how it goes. We stay busy enough to keep the doors open and the lights on every morning.
