This is the home and workspace of Mujeeb Rahman.K, located at Kalangotu House in Kunnamangalam, which is in the Calicut district of Kerala. It’s a very personal setup here. Kunnamangalam is a nice area, quite green and away from the main rush of the city. The house has been here for a long time, and we do most of our work from a dedicated room inside. It’s not like a commercial office at all. You can hear the sounds of the household and the neighborhood throughout the day. We have the usual things—a computer, some notebooks, and a lot of pens that always seem to go missing. Working from Kerala, especially in a place like Calicut, means things are a bit more relaxed. We follow the rhythm of the day. There is no big staff, just a few people who know each other well. We handle everything right from here. Sometimes we have to travel into the main city for meetings, but most of the time, we are right here at Kalangotu House. The address is quite specific, so people usually find us by asking for the name of the house. It’s a traditional way of living and working that we’ve kept up with. We don’t have a lobby or a sign outside. It’s just a home where work happens every day. It feels more honest to work this way, surrounded by family and the local village life.
