The office for Exelan Networking Technologies Pvt Ltd is at number 252 in HSR Layout. We are in a three-story building, and our floor is basically one large open room. Because we work with networking, there are always some routers or rolls of yellow cable sitting on the tables. It looks more like a lab than a corporate office most days. We have long wooden tables instead of individual cubicles, which makes it easier to talk to each other. The air conditioner is a bit old and makes a humming noise that you eventually stop noticing. We have a small kettle in the corner for making tea, though it takes forever to boil. The walls are mostly white and a bit bare. In the evenings, the light from the streetlamps comes through the windows. We’ve been at this location for a couple of years now and we know all the other people who work in the building. It is a very practical and unpretentious workspace. We don't have a fancy sign at the entrance, just the house number 252. We like it this way because it’s quiet enough to focus and close enough to some good food spots when we get hungry.
