Ilanji is a small place in Tamil Nadu, and that is exactly where we are based. It is not like being in Chennai or any of the big cities. Things move a bit slower here, and we don't mind that at all. Our office is simple and serves its purpose. We deal with whatever comes our way each day, mostly coordinating things for the business. The air is a bit fresher here than in the industrial zones. We have a small team of local people who know the area well. There isn't much in the way of fancy office equipment, just the basics like tables, chairs, and a reliable internet connection when the weather behaves. When it rains hard during the monsoon, the sound on the roof is so loud we can barely hear each other talk. We just laugh and wait for it to pass. Most of our work involves staying in touch with people across Asia, but our heart is right here in this small town. We don't have a big corporate structure or complicated titles. Everyone just helps out where they can. If the floor needs sweeping, someone sweeps it. If a package arrives, whoever is closest picks it up. It is a very down-to-earth way of doing things. We’ve stayed in Ilanji because it’s where we belong and it works for us. It is just a normal life here in this part of India.
