Escapades

Our place, Escapades, is tucked away at B24 in the 5th Block of Koramangala. If you know Bangalore, you know this neighborhood is always changing, but we’ve stayed put for a bit now. We don't really look like a typical office. It's more of a workspace where we sit around and figure out itineraries for people who want to go trekking or take a long break. We aren't a big agency with hundreds of employees. It's just a few of us who like being outside and decided to make a living helping others do the same. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. Usually, you just walk in and one of us will look up from a laptop. The space is a bit messy with brochures and old maps scattered around, but we know where everything is. We focus on the details that matter, like which trails are actually open and which guest houses are decent. We don't bother with the fancy luxury stuff much unless someone really asks for it. It's more about the actual trip and less about the frills. People in Koramangala seem to like that we’re straightforward. We tell you if a place is overrated or if the timing for a trip is bad. It’s just how we talk. We’re here most days, drinking coffee and trying to stay on top of all the bookings. It’s a good way to spend the day.
