Equitable Tourism Options

We set up Equitable Tourism Options in the Defence Officers Enclave, which is over in Dhaula Kuan Part 1. It is inside House No 59, right in the Delhi Cantt area. Because it is a military area, it is much quieter than the rest of New Delhi. You do not hear the constant honking of horns here. We do tourism work, but it is more about looking at how travel affects different places and people. It is a lot of reading, writing, and sometimes organizing trips that are a bit different from the usual tourist spots. The office feels more like a library or a study than a typical business. We have shelves full of reports and books about different regions of India. It can get quite cold in the winter months, so we usually have a small heater going while we work. In the summer, it is the opposite, and we just try to stay cool while answering all the emails. We do not have big, flashy posters of beaches on the walls. Most of our work is done on old computers and over long phone calls with people across the country. It is a small group of us here. We usually just eat our lunch together and talk about the latest travel news. It is a very low-key environment. We do not really go for big marketing pushes. People who know what we do just find us or give us a call.
