Over here at 122, 15th Cross in Ashok Nagar, we’ve got our setup for Engineering Mechanics Research Corporation. This part of Bangalore, Bsk I Stage, is where we spend most of our daylight hours. It’s a solid neighborhood and being on 15th Cross makes it easy enough for folks to find us if they know the area. The building is older, which we like, though the stairs can be a bit much if you’re carrying heavy boxes. We do a lot of research work here, mostly sitting in front of monitors or tinkering with mechanical models that take up too much space on the tables. It gets a bit dusty with all the papers, but we try to keep it organized enough to find what we need. Bangalore weather is usually on our side, so we keep the windows open when it’s not too noisy outside. We aren't the type to have big meetings with fancy slides; usually, we just sit around the main table and hash things out until they make sense. Sometimes the internet acts up, and we all just take a break for some coffee down the street. It’s a simple way of doing things, and we’ve been at it long enough to not worry about the small stuff. We just focus on the mechanics and the data we’re supposed to be looking at. It's a quiet life in Ashok Nagar for the most part.
