Our office is located over at 61, H. B. Samaja Road. If you know Basavanagudi, you know it’s a place that still has some of that old Bangalore feel to it, even with all the new stuff coming up. We work out of this space every day, dealing with various tech and solution tasks that come our way. It’s not one of those massive glass buildings you see in the tech parks. It’s just a regular spot on a busy road. Most mornings start with the sound of the street waking up. We settle in, grab some coffee from the place nearby, and get to our desks. The people working here have been around for a while. We aren’t really into the whole corporate culture where everything is scripted. We talk like normal people and solve problems as they pop up. Sometimes the internet acts up or we run out of stationary, and one of us has to run down the street to grab what’s needed. It’s a practical way to work. Basavanagudi is a nice area to be in because you can actually walk around and find decent food without going too far. We like it here. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint eventually, but for now, we are focused on the tasks at hand. It’s just us doing what we do, day in and day out. We have a small balcony where we keep some plants that we sometimes forget to water, but they seem to survive anyway. It’s those small bits of life that make the workday feel less like a chore.
