Embassy Projects & Infrastructures

We are way up on the 13th floor in Hoodi. It’s quite a view from Seshadripuram area if the weather is clear. We do construction and infrastructure projects. Most days involve looking at blueprints or talking to the guys on the site. It’s a bit of a climb in the elevator every morning. We’ve been working on various bits of the city for a while now. The office is usually a mess of papers and site maps. We aren't really the type to wear suits all day. Most of us are more comfortable in boots and jeans. We handle a lot of the planning side here. Hoodi has changed so much lately with all the new buildings coming up. We remember when it was much quieter. Our team is small but we know what we are doing with the bricks and the concrete. It’s hard work and the deadlines are always tight. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and wait. We deal with suppliers and laborers mostly. It’s not always pretty work, but seeing a project get finished is a good feeling. We stay here until the work is done, sometimes that means late nights. It’s a practical space for us to organize everything. We don't have fancy furniture, just desks that hold the weight of all the files. Building things takes time and patience, and we have plenty of both. Our blueprints are scattered everywhere, but we know exactly where each one belongs.
