Emantech Software Solutions Pvt Ltd is located at 47 A Vilayil Gowri Vila which is tucked away in the Nanada Layout of Shettyhalli. It is a bit of a quiet spot compared to the main parts of the city which suits us just fine. The office is basically a converted residential space so it has a kitchen and a small balcony where we keep some potted plants that someone forgot to water. We have about ten desks crammed into the living area and cables running everywhere to keep the servers going. It is the kind of place where you have to take your shoes off at the door sometimes if it has been raining outside. We don't have a receptionist so if the bell rings whoever is closest to the door just gets up to see who it is. Most of our days are spent staring at code or talking on the phone with people. We use a lot of whiteboards to scribble notes and they are usually covered in messy handwriting that only we can understand. There is a small tea shop about five minutes away where we go when we need to stretch our legs. It is a very relaxed atmosphere and nobody really wears a suit or anything like that. We are just a group of people working on software in a quiet neighborhood house.
