If you walk down the 1st Cross in Maheshwari Nagar, you will find us at A-3 in Chikkanna Layout. This part of Mahadevapura is always under some kind of construction, so there is usually a bit of dust in the air. Our building is tucked away, and it feels a bit like a maze when you first walk inside. We have rows of sewing machines set up, and the sound of the needles hitting the fabric is constant from morning until evening. It is not a quiet place by any means. The light comes in through the high windows, showing all the lint floating around. We keep the stacks of finished shirts and trousers near the back door where they get loaded up. There is a small tea stall just around the corner where we all go when we need a break from the noise. The guy there knows exactly how much sugar everyone likes. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. People just walk straight into the work area. We are mostly focused on hitting our daily numbers and making sure nothing gets jammed. Sometimes we stay late when a big order is due, and the whole street is quiet except for our lights. It is just regular work for us, and we have been doing it this way for a while now in Mahadevapura.
