Our spot is at 54, Bhadrappa Estate, which is tucked away in the Kamakashipalya area. You’ve probably driven past Magadi Road a hundred times and maybe missed our turn. It’s a busy part of the city with lots of small businesses packed together. We’ve been operating out of this same building for quite some time now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but the roof doesn’t leak and the space works for what we need. We mostly deal with elastic materials and fabrics. If you walked in right now, you’d see rolls of stuff stacked up nearly to the ceiling. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes. We have a handful of workers who are local to the neighborhood. We don’t go in for fancy titles or corporate meetings. We just talk over tea in the mornings about what needs to get packed and shipped. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time navigating the narrow lanes around the estate, especially when it rains and the puddles get deep. But we always manage to get things loaded up. It’s a lot of manual work and standing on your feet. We aren't a big name you see on billboards, just a regular shop doing regular work. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but we’re still here doing the same thing every day. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy enough for now.
