Echo Soch

It’s been a while since we set up here at 29 Jalahalli West, right in the middle of Badheri Market. Echo Soch is just what we call the place, but mostly it’s just us doing the work every day. The market gets pretty loud on the weekends, especially with all the people coming through. We usually start the morning by getting the shop ready and checking on things that came in the day before. There’s a tea stall just a few doors down that everyone goes to, so that’s a big part of the routine here. People stop by sometimes just to ask for directions or see what we’re up to. Jalahalli has changed quite a bit over the years. There are more cars now and the streets feel narrower than they used to. We keep our space simple because there isn't much room for anything extra anyway. Most of the time it’s just about getting through the list of things to do before the sun goes down. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or two, so we just sit outside and talk to the neighbors until it comes back on. It’s a decent spot to be. We’ve gotten to know the other shop owners around here pretty well. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that, just a regular place where we spend our hours. We don't have a big sign out front, just enough so people know it’s us.
