Eagleton The Golf Resort

Eagleton is located in the village of Uttar Sashan, which is part of the Ramgopalpur post office area. We are way out in Baruipur, in the South 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. It is a very rural area, far away from the noise of Kolkata. There is a lot of green around here, with fields and small ponds everywhere. The resort is situated on this land, and it’s a bit of a surprise to find a golf resort in such a quiet village spot. We have people from the local village working with us. The pace of life is much slower here. We spend a lot of time maintaining the grounds and making sure everything looks right. The roads leading out to Baruipur can be a bit rough sometimes, especially after the rains. We see a lot of birds and local wildlife around the property. It’s not a corporate environment at all; it feels more like being part of the countryside. We handle the daily chores of running a resort, which means there is always something to fix or a lawn to mow. The weather is usually quite warm, and the humidity can be high. We just focus on keeping the place running and welcoming whoever makes the trip out to see us. It’s a lot of hard work in the sun, but it’s a peaceful place to be.
