Our office is on the first floor of R V S Paradise, which is at 165 Jayanagar in Shaniwar Peth. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs, but it is a quiet space once you get inside. We have been working as engineers and contractors for quite some time now. The office is usually filled with rolls of blueprints and stacks of files. Since we handle contracting, a lot of our time is spent out at different sites, checking on progress and talking to the workers. When we are in the office, we are mostly dealing with the government rules and the technical bits of the projects. Jayanagar is a nice place to be based. We have got some good tea shops nearby where we go to talk about work when we need a break from the desks. We are a private limited company, but we do not act like those big corporate places you see on TV. We are just a group of people who understand how buildings and systems go together. Sometimes things at a site go wrong, and we have to spend all day fixing a problem we didn't expect. That is just the nature of contracting work. We take it one day at a time and try to stay on top of our schedules. It is a lot of responsibility, but we enjoy the challenge of it.
